Diabetes Educator Program
Our Living with Diabetes program provides free DVDs, handbooks, coupon booklets and web-based information to patients in Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) classes. The materials reinforce information taught in the classes, and allow patients to share the class information with family members who may not have attended the class. Based on the AADE 7 framework, the Living with Diabetes DVD is also used by diabetes educators as an in-class teaching aide and to provide educational information in the lobby areas of medical facilities.

To help us reach this vision, we have partnered with The American Association of Diabetes Educators. Founded in 1973, AADE is a multidisciplinary association of healthcare professionals dedicated to integrating self-management as a key outcome in the care of people with diabetes and related chronic conditions.
