Developed by A to Z Health and the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE), the Living With Diabetes kit includes an educational DVD and printed resource guide. It is intended for people with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, and is based on the AADE7TM framework for diabetes self-care behaviors. These materials are designed to help both someone who has recently been diagnosed, as well as people who have had diabetes for a while but need up-to-date information and tools. Topics covered include Understanding Diabetes, Healthy Eating, Monitoring, Medications, Problem Solving, Reducing Risks, and Healthy Coping. It is an easy to follow program recommended by educators, doctors and pharmacists. Box of 100 DVDs/Kits.
