Developed by A to Z Health and the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE), the Living With Diabetes kit includes an educational DVD and printed resource guide. It is intended for people with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, and is based on the AADE7TM framework for diabetes self-care behaviors. These materials are designed to help both someone who has recently been diagnosed, as well as people who have had diabetes for a while but need up-to-date information and tools. Topics covered include Understanding Diabetes, Healthy Eating, Monitoring, Medications, Problem Solving, Reducing Risks, and Healthy Coping.
